Now there are studies that suggest that appropriate quitting during the day is more healthy than three meals a day. A doctor who has been "painless and pain-free" for 40 years and his 77-year-old health examination report is still very beautiful. He emphasizes that calculating is the key to maintaining health.

A couple in their 50s who live in East and Japan have completely embraced the "one meal a day" lifestyle since the COVID-19 pandemic began to work far away. During the day, I only drink raw ginger tea with turquoise juice and brown sugar. At dinner, I will enjoy the food as much as I want. Although it is a meal a day, I still eat some chocolate or fruit to fill my stomach when I am hungry.

This couple loves delicious food and wine. The advantage of one meal a day is that it can make the dinner more delicious. In the past, they would care about the heat and avoid ingesting carbohydrates, fried foods and sweets, but now there are no restrictions. Despite this, the fat rate of couples is lower than the average standard of over 50 years old, and their physical condition is excellent. The wife is even often praised for "smooth and bright skin".

The "one meal a day" pattern they refer to is exactly the way Ishihara's director Ishihara's eating method. Long before the popularization of these vocabulary or fasting, Dean Ishihara had advocated "no hard-working slaughter" through drinking citrus juice and brown sugar ginger tea, and published a number of related books. Ishihara has been practicing the lifestyle of "completely quitting every day every week, and one meal a day for six days" for the past 40 years. The specific content is as follows:

‧Monday

Drink 6 cups of husband juice (added with apple)

Black sugar ginger tea 2 to 3 cups

‧Tuesday

Breakfast: 2 cups Husband stewed juice: 1 to 2 cups of brown sugar, raw ginger tea,

Dinner: Enjoy favorite foods, and alcohol without restrictions.

One day, Ishihara had a dinner at an Italian restaurant, enjoying the croquette, potatoes, pizza, Italian noodles, seafood main courses without any season, and with beer and white wine. However, his diet was extremely skewed, not meat, fish, eggs, milk, butter, or egg sauce. The only animal foods that can be taken are seafood such as sausage, crab, sausage, beans, and cheese.

Ishihara proudly said that he is 77 years old this year, and his health check results are all A-level. He has never been sick. He has been in Izu and Tokyo, held a lecture, wrote articles and received interviews. He has no rest for 365 days a year, but his body is still light and he never feels tired. Four days a week, 10 kilometers of running, and two days a weight training session is carried out, without any effort.

Ishihara believes that "the key to health and longevity is to be on an empty stomach." In fact, many studies have proved the health benefits of fasting. In 2000, a study published by the MIT Institute of Technology in the United States pointed out that prolonging the fasting time can activate the "long-lasting gene" and thus prolong the life and improve. In addition, "autophagy" is also attracting attention, a process of cell self-decomposition and reuse of some organizations, which can restore cells to age, and the fasting state is the key to its initiation.

In 2019, Johns Hopkins University in the United States published a report in the "New England Medical Magazine", pointing out that fasting for 16 to 18 hours a day, or limiting the intake heat to 500 to 700 calories two days a week, can reduce blood pressure, reduce weight, and expect to prolong life.

Ishihara said: "Most of the time in human history is in a state of longevity, and our bodies are suitable for this environment. Modern society emphasizes that "eat regular meals three meals a day", but the number of patients with habitual diseases continues to increase, and the age of illness is gradually becoming lighter. Even if life is prolonged, it may not be a healthy life. Modern people obviously eat too much. If they want to maintain health, they must intentionally create an empty stomach."
