How to store down jackets:
After winter passes, store down jackets. Wrap it in breathable items (such as a sorting bag), put it in a camphor ball to prevent insect damage, and then store it in a ventilated and dry wardrobe, be careful not to be under heavy pressure.
There is a lot of rain in summer and autumn. After the rainy season, it is best to take out the down jacket and dry it to prevent mold. If there is a mildew point, you can use a cotton ball to dip it in alcohol, then wipe it with a clean wet towel, and then store it properly after it is dry. But be careful not to expose it to the sun, otherwise the new clothes may fade into old clothes.
Down jacket cleaning method:
1. Do not clean the down jacket too frequently. Generally, 2-3 times a year is enough. If it is a light-colored down jacket, it can be cleaned locally when it is dirty. If the down jacket is just a little dirty, there is no need to clean the whole piece. Because ordinary down jacket fabrics are not afraid of water, just drop a few drops of laundry detergent on the dirty area and wipe it dry with a wet towel after a few minutes. If it is not clean once, just repeat it several times.
2. During the cleaning of the down jacket, in order to avoid the filling material being eroded by excessive alkaline substances, you can choose a small amount of neutral laundry detergent or detergent, mix it with 35 degrees Celsius warm water, and soak the clothes completely in the washing liquid for 15 minutes; place the clothes on the washing board or other flat plate placed in the washing basin, and use a soft brush to brush the dirt in turn. Do not rub it hard to prevent down knots, and then squeeze out the washing liquid, but do not twist the clothes hard; put the rinsed down jacket in the net pocket to drain it to avoid excessive moisture in the down, and the weight is too large, and deformed when drying. When there is no dripping, take out the clothes and dry it in a ventilated place, and do not expose it to the sun or bake it. When you are about to dry, you can gently pat your hands or small wooden sticks to restore the down to its natural fluffy state. It is also conducive to the filling completely drying and preventing mold.
In order to avoid soap stains on the down jacket fabric, in addition to properly grasping the concentration of the washing liquid, after rinsing it twice, you can put two small tablespoons of vinegar in clean water. The vinegar can neutralize the remaining washing liquid in the down jacket.
If the washed down jacket has soap stains, you can wipe clean cotton with industrial alcohol repeatedly, and finally wipe it with a hot towel, and the soap stains can be removed.
