Granddaughter of Indonesian late wealthy businessman Huang Yicong bought a local villa for RMB 25 million

According to transaction information seen by Bloomberg, this bungalow on Chatsworth Avenue has a land area of about 767 square meters (8,256 square feet), close to the Orchard Road shopping area.

Mimi Yuliana Maeloa, the granddaughter of the late Indonesian billionaire Eka Tjipta Widjaja, bought a villa for RMB 25 million.

The deal is completed by the end of June. Buyer Yuliana is a citizen of our country and was born to Sukmawati Widjaja, the daughter of Huang Yicong.

It is understood that Yuliana has worked as an investment bank such as Goldman Sachs, and has been a director of Top Global, a family-owned real estate company, since 2010.

Huang Yicong founded Sinar Mas Group during his lifetime, and was involved in many fields such as pulp and finance. He died in 2019.

According to the company registration information, she is also a director of SW Global Management, a family office established in 2022.

The seller of this villa is the president of a local electrical appliance and stationery distributor, and neither party to the transaction responded to media inquiries.
