The Daily Mail reported that Manchester United is checking a video showing one of its fans being attacked by another fan in the game against Chelsea. If the identity of the perpetrator is confirmed, the club will impose severe penalties.
Manchester United fan Frank Ellet became famous for making a vow to "never cut your hair unless Amorin's team wins five consecutive games." Manchester United's last five consecutive games were in February 2024 when coaching at Tenhach.
Ellett was suspected of being attacked by a Manchester United fan in Manchester United's match against Chelsea, and the club is investigating the incident.
Ellett started the challenge last October and updated his hair status on his social account daily. His account has 380,000 followers on Instagram and 253,000 TikTok fans, and his fan growth rate has almost caught up with his black curly hair.
A fan seemed dissatisfied with the gimmick and grabbed Ellette's hair in the passage of Old Trafford Stadium and tried to push him to the ground. Other fans intervened, but the angry man continued to verbally abuse Ellett, accusing him of not being a real fan.
According to the Post, the club has noticed this widely circulated video.
