The gold and silver wire embedded in textiles are made by spraying aluminum powder in a vacuum with polyester film, then applying a protective layer, and then cutting. In addition to silver, there are gold and silver wires of various colors such as gold, red, and green, as well as two-sided colored gold and silver wires of red and green, all of which are formed by coloring in a vacuum before cutting. Some of the medium-length tweeds embedded in gold and silver wires are directly embedded in the fabric; some are woven by twisting gold and silver wires with medium-length yarn into patterns and knotted threads. After the fabric is embedded with gold and silver wire, it can enhance the glitter effect and wear fastness. Then the washing method of wearing gold and silver garments cannot be the same as other clothes.
The washing and maintenance of the medium-length tweed embedded in gold and silver wire is the same as that of ordinary medium-length fibers. Do not use boiling water when washing, and cold water or warm water should be used, as long as it does not exceed 50℃. After washing, it should be dried in a cool place and must not be exposed to the sun. Generally, it does not require ironing. You should put a wet cloth on the fabric and do not have too high temperature.
It is very particular to wash fabrics with gold and silver wires. For example, the raw materials for medium-length are mostly made of polyester and viscose fiber blended. Viscose fiber is not resistant to alkali, while gold and silver wires are neither alkali nor acid resistant. Therefore, do not use soap that is too alkaline when washing. It is best to use neutral synthetic laundry detergent or neutral soap. The soap liquid should be cleaned to prevent the fiber from aging. Do not twist hard when washing, and do not rub it with a washboard, and do not brush it hard with a hard board to avoid breaking the gold and silver wire. Use light rubs to brush with your hands or a medium soft board, and then bring water to dry the clothes smoothly.
Another thing should be noted is that since the fabric is embedded with gold and silver wire, this material must be cut with scissors and cannot be teared by hand. Otherwise, due to the poor retractability of gold and silver wires, the gold and silver wires on the cloth will wrinkle after tearing, affecting the beauty.
