According to The Athletic, Galatasaray is interested in Manchester City defender Akanji and is still negotiating for goalkeeper Ederson's transfer.
Earlier this summer window, Galatasaray was also interested in Manchester City midfielder Gundogan, but the latter hopes to stay in the Blue Moon.
In Manchester City's first Premier League match, Akanji did not play as a substitute, and Stones and Ruben Dias started. Akanji also faces competition for playing time between Husanov and Ak, and Guardiola said after last weekend's game that having such a bloated lineup is "unhealthy".
Akanji joined Manchester City from Dortmund in 2022 and has made 136 appearances in various competitions. He has two years of contract with Manchester City.
In addition, Galatasaray also wants goalkeeper Ederson and is in talks with Manchester City, but no formal offer has been made yet.
Guardiola previously expressed that she hopes Ederson will start as the team's No. 1 goalkeeper in the new season, but will not stop any players who want to leave the team.
