According to TA, Brentford coach Frank is the main candidate to replace Aobo, and Tottenham is expected to make a decision on the new head coach next week.
Spurs have not yet contacted Brentford on the change of coaches.
Frank, 51, serves as Brentford head coach and leads the team to 10th in the Premier League this season.
