According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Chelsea is getting closer to signing Gittens.
Chelsea is approaching reaching an agreement with Dortmund to sign Gittens. Both clubs are currently participating in the Club World Cup in the United States and have continued negotiations in the past two weeks, after a deal was once blocked due to the failure to reach an agreement in front of the Club World Cup transfer window on June 10.
Gittens missed Dortmund's match against Ulsan HD due to illness. Dortmund will face Monterrey next Wednesday for the Club World Cup round of 16, while Chelsea will play Benfica in Charlotte this Sunday.
