Red Devils legend Scholes talked about Manchester City's new goalkeeper Donaluma when he participated in the show. Scholes believed that Manchester United should have signed the Italian goalkeeper. Scholes called City's signing "puzzling" while insisting that Donnarumma would be his first choice when picking goalkeepers for Manchester United.
"I think this is a very strange signing for Guardiola. I like Donnarumma, I think he is excellent, and I hope he can join Manchester United whether tomorrow, today or at any time. If it is £40 million (the previously reported Donnarumma transfer fee), he is definitely worth the money. But for Guardiola, the goalkeeper almost has to play in the midfield.
