Schira: Inter Milan plans to trigger Akanji’s 15 million euro buyout clause and negotiate an annual salary of 4.5 million euros

According to Italian reporter Schilla, Inter Milan has planned to trigger Akanji's 15 million euro buyout clause.

Schilla said that Inter Milan has planned to permanently buy out Akanji after the end of the season, with a buyout fee of 15 million euros. Inter Milan has reached an agreement with Akanji on personal terms. The new contract between the two parties will run until 2029, with an annual salary of 4.5 million euros.

The 30-year-old Akanji joined Inter Milan on loan from Manchester City this summer. He has played in 6 games this season. The current transfer price is 28 million euros.
