According to reporter Ben Jacobs, Manchester City has reached an agreement with Lyon on Cherki's transfer.
Ben Jacobs tweeted: "Manchester City has reached an agreement with Lyon to sign Cherki with a transfer fee of 40 million euros."
"This is a five-year contract, and the deal is expected to be completed before the Club World Cup."
