Liverpool striker Ekitic was interviewed and shared topics such as his childhood and views on personal privacy.
Question: What was your youth like?
Ekitic: Shy. Very shy. I've changed this point. Very nice person, just like now. And he is passionate about football.
Question: What are your childhood memories?
Ekitic: I grew up with my mom. I spent a lot of time with my mom and my brother. There is only football in life. I went to school and then played football. It's everywhere.
Question: I saw a video of your brothers and friends' reaction when you scored Liverpool's first goal.
Ekitic: I remember my friend was there, but that was too exaggerated. I don't like that kind of video. But that's good because I'm successful or not, I'm surrounded by the same group of people and I think they're very proud of me.
Asked: You just said that you don’t like that kind of video. Are you a very privacy-oriented person?
Ekitic: Yes. I know you'll be more famous as a Liverpool player, but I don't want people to know about my private life. I like to become famous, but I don't want to be well-known. People don’t know what I’m doing when I’m at home or what I do in my free time.
Asked: What do you usually do on a rest day without football?
Ekitic: If I only have one day off, I will relax at home, recover, play PlayStation, swim, and jacuzzi. I'm watching a movie.
Asked: What kind of movie do you like?
Ekitic: My favorite one? I have two movies, namely "Breaking Drummer" and "Wolf of Wall Street".
Asked: Tell me something about yourself that may surprise me.
Ekitic: I am left-handed, don't you know?
Asked: Do you have any secrets?
Ekitic: Ah, yes, I have one. I can draw. Draw people, draw everything, draw life. Sometimes I like to draw. This has always been easy for me.
