According to BBC Sports, former West Ham forward Antonio has begun training with Brentford.
The 35-year-old Antonio's contract with West Ham expired in June this year. He was seriously injured in a car accident in December last year. Currently, the former West Ham's all-time top scorer is training at Brentford and he believes he can still return to the level of playing regularly and scoring goals consistently.
However, Antonio's current training at Brentford does not mean that this club will definitely provide him with a contract, but that he lives nearby to take this opportunity to maintain game status.
During his 10 years at West Ham United, Antonio played a total of 323 times, scored 83 goals, and started in the 2023 UEFA Europa League final, helping the team end its 43-year drought in major tournaments.
